Rev. Jennifer Parks-Snyder came to Lightstreet United Methodist in July of 2010.  

Jenn began in ministry in 1999 and was appointed her first charge in 2000 in the Halifax, PA area.  She served there for 4 years.  The next appointment was serving 3 churches and overseeing a 4th in Chambersburg, PA.  That appointment was 3 years.  Pastor Jenn comes to us from First Hollidaysburg UMC, where she served as the Associate Pastor for 3 years. 

She graduated from Shippensburg College in December 1996 and then received her Master of Divinity in 2006 from Wesley Seminary in Washington, DC.  Jenn was ordained June 12, 2010.

Pastro Jenn is married to Scott Snyder.  Scott comes from Reading, PA where they met through friends Jenn had at Albright College.  They have three sons, Lucas, Alex and Davis.  The family also includes 2 cats, Miles and Thomas.  

Megan Burd-Harris - Pastoral Intern

Megan Burd-Harris serves Lightstreet UMC as a pastoral intern.  She is presently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington D.C.   It is her intention to serve two years to both fulfill the field education requirement of her degree and to establish a firm foundation in parish ministry.   

Megan is married to Rev. Andrew Burd-Harris, who is serving Mifflinville-Htlerville United Methodist Churches.  

Megan graduated from Danville High-school in 2001, Colby College (Waterville, ME) in 2005, and from Boston University School of Theology in 2007. Since then she has worked at two separate children’s homes as a youth counselor, mental health worker, and an independent living counselor. She also has served as the Director of Outreach Ministry at Baughman Memorial UMC in New Cumberland PA.  Two highlights of her time there include weekly leading their contemporary worship service and starting a depression support group. In 2011, she completed the chaplain residency program at Geisinger Medical Center.
